love krulwich and love this post. i know i have posted this reef before, but the more in-depth (eep! puns!) look thrilled me. it was also great to hear about the other projects. there is something so beautifully unknowable about the ocean; i would love to make it a much deeper part of my life.
Well said elegantmess, There is a project that turns your cremated ashes into coral reef structures too, which always sounded infinitely more appealing than hanging out in the ground for eternity. Creepy, maybe, incredible, yes.
